Viva Vegan

Food is amazing when I order anonymously online. I have ordered birria ramen, and the og burrito multiple times and they are both amazing. But for some reason when I go in person the chef always makes my order greasy as possible. I can see the orange grease dripping from the foil and turning the tortilla clear orange as well. I hope that it is not a race thing because I have noticed this pattern because of my skin color. But if I order anonymously my food comes out perfect. And this has happened more than once. Hopefully this can be corrected I would like to continue support and not be discriminated against for my food preference and skin color. I know this is not the owners fault, but maybe there is an issue with the cook's bringing personal issues to a place of business. Once again the food is amazing and hopefully this can be resolved.

My wife is a meat eater and I am vegetarian. On this trip (from San Francisco to Palm Desert), I thought I finally convinced her that vegan food can be tasty. We had found some wonderful vegan eateries in Palm Desert. On the way back home, we were surprised to find a vegan restaurant in the middle of California. But were looking forward to a nourishing vegan take out which was also tasty. (My wife has a super sensitive stomach.)

This restaurant wasn't that. The food (all the items we ordered were overly greasy, a bit salty) was disappointing. I apologized to my wife. I also would like for the restaurant to incorporate this feedback and provide easy vegan meals. I'd be more than happy to bring my wife again just to keep her convinced that plant based food doesn't mean tasteless (but also not greasy/sugary).

This is definitely a hidden gem! I was introduced to this place by my vegan friend. Now, I am a meat eater so I thought that the tacos weren't going to taste as good as real meat tacos. Boy was I wrong! The carnitas tacos were so delicious! I was blown away to know that the "meat" is not really meat. It's jackfruit! Amazing! I highly recommend this place!

If you’re looking for a very authentic and delicious vegan restaurant, look no further. I had the quesabirria taco plate with rice and beans and I have to say this is better than most taco places that serve meat! Vegan or non-vegan you will be impressed by the food and the service! ✨

This has fast become one of my favorite restuants. Their food is so good and well made. I love all the options and the staff is great.
