“My wife is a meat eater and I am vegetarian. On this trip (from San Francisco to Palm Desert), I thought I finally convinced her that vegan food can be tasty. We had found some wonderful vegan eateries in Palm Desert. On the way back home, we were surprised to find a vegan restaurant in the middle of California. But were looking forward to a nourishing vegan take out which was also tasty. (My wife has a super sensitive stomach.) This restaurant wasn't that. The food (all the items we ordered were overly greasy, a bit salty) was disappointing. I apologized to my wife. I also would like for the restaurant to incorporate this feedback and provide easy vegan meals. I'd be more than happy to bring my wife again just to keep her convinced that plant based food doesn't mean tasteless (but also not greasy/sugary).”
