Rosies #3

I'm never dissatisfied eating here. The GT burrito is the way to go. I also like the carne asada fries with the nacho cheese. This is the best Mexican food joint in town in my opinion. The menudo is really good as well, but it is only served Saturday mornings.

Small portions, unfriendly staff, no free chips or drink refills, food is just ok.

When I was in medical school (graduated 2005) I had their relleno burrito and garbage burrito. Quit good, but then I asked, and turns out they do use lard in their beans. For me, that is a deal breaker. Wish they had a non-lard version, would be great for vegetarians, but alas...they still use lard last time I called today.

When we walked in, the place was empty while the restaurant next door was full... By the time we left only one other table had been seated at Rosie's #3. The restaurant next door was still full.

The food was ok but not flavorful enough to warrant a second visit. One my guests commented that the frijoles tasted like they came from a can... It might have been a bad day for the chef but I think that the empty tables told the story.

Awesome little spot. Had the beef burrito lunch special, and it was delicious. 10/10 would go back.
