Chicken tikka Masala Express

Address: 25685 Redlands Blvd Suite A, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“This place is another reason i don't trust a word any Yelper writes on there. The food was hot, very well seasoned and tasteful plus clean dining area. Yes the menu is essentially only 5 items, but all are well prepared and top quality in taste. I don't taste any difference in quality from a British Indian restaurant charging 30 dollars for same plate but perhaps some may find it ludicrous ( most likely yelp employees with Google profiles) There may be gripes about customer service but my experience was they were respectful all the way. At a time when going out for lunch for a filling meal is running almost 20 dollars and fast increasing, the price for quality here can't be beat.”

Gandhi Cuisine of India

Address: 25548 Barton Rd, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“I was excited to try the new Indian restaurant in town. Upon walking in, the decor and atmosphere is wonderful. It is a dramatic change from the previous establishments that have existed in this space, and feels more luxurious than many of the other eateries in this plaza. The wait staff seems to still be getting their legs under them after recently opening, but are generally friendly - if not edging on too helpful throughout the meal. Our meal began with the Pakora and Vegetable Samosa appetizers. The Pakora was incredibly salty, and was not crunchy. It had been fried, but was soggy and had no crunch that I was looking forward to. The Samosa was rather bland. The Samosa outer shell was flaky and had a good crunch to it, but fell apart easily when trying to use the tamarind and mint sauces provided for dipping. The lentil soup was served in a very tiny bowl, and unfortunately had very little taste. It was incredibly thin and watery and had a early taste of lemon, but beyond that it was bland. The Naan had great crunch and was a wonderful density, but unfortunately the plain had no flavor and the garlic had no flavor with a bit of raw garlic flavor. The Vegetable Korma wasn't bad, but it wasn't as rich as I've come to expect from other experiences. The potato wasn't fully cooked, but the cashews were a nice addition to the ingredients. The rice was simple, but well cooked, and had a light taste of anise (a light licorice flavor), which was a nice touch. Admittedly, when ordering our waiter asked if we wanted 'mild, medium or hot' - and I assumed this was the spice level, not how 'rich' the food might be. Perhaps I mistook the question and ordered all the food as mild. The food is, unfortunately, disappointing - especially for how much it costs. Our meal consisting of 2 appetizers, a very small soup and one entree ended up costing $50. We had no drinks, no dessert and shared the entree. Honestly, I'm hopeful this place makes it. Although our experience wasn't wonderful (with regards to the food), I'm hopeful it's just the restaurant starting up and figuring out their recipes. Beyond that, the value for the cost doesn't seem to make sense. I don't think Indian food should be cheap, but if you're charging these prices, at least let the food, both in amount and taste, be up to par. I'm also willing to accept we have ordered the wrong items - the chicken a table near us received looked lovely. I've often felt if a restaurant can do well with lentil soup and naan, the rest of their items are likely wonderful. If you enjoy Indian food and want a slightly more upscale experience, it's worth trying. I'm hopeful your experience is better than ours!”

Vegan District Asian Eatery

Address: 25805 Barton Rd #105A, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“First off I want to start by saying this restaurant is beyond what I imagined! The amount of options and the ambience is what drew me in from the beginning! I ordered the vegetable wonton soup with the vegan poached egg and the eggplant tofu with brown rice. The portion sizes are more than enough and the flavor of each of the dishes was epic especially the the eggplant tofu as it also had basil in the sauce and it elevated the dish even more. Much appreciation to the chef and to the friendly servers that helped me. If you are looking for a good place to have lunch or dinner with friends or family this is the place. Lots of indoor and outdoor seats to choose from and very relaxing music that wasn’t to overpowering. Needless to say this restaurant deserves a 5 star and I will be back again🤍🥢”

Starbucks

Address: 11245 California St #A, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I have a love hate relationship with this Starbucks. They are very convenient but are hit and miss with the orders. Example: today I ordered a cafe Americano. It should be 3 shots of espresso, hot water and a dash of half and half. Mine was without half and half. Unfortunately I was already at work before I noticed.”

Slices n' Swirls

Address: 25709 Barton Rd, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“First time trying S&S and I was presently surprised how good it was. If you have had authentic NYC pizza or even pizza in Italy, it's about simple fresh ingredients that compliment the thin chewy crust. Slices and swirls accomplishes this. We had the veggie of the week pizza which was truffle and added sausage and pepperoni. It was outstanding as the truffle did not over power the sausage or pepperoni. We also ordered a margarita pizza with fresh mushrooms and arugula. The subtle tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, mushrooms and the peppery arugula on top was killer. The prices were reasonable as the ingredients are high quality. This is not mass made pizza like Costco, Dominos or Papa John's where its volume vs. quality. The owner was friendly and charismatic as he was the person that gave us our order. I hope his business is able to survive the pandemic as we need more mom and pop businesses in the neighborhood.”

Hiccups

Address: 25805 Barton Rd #105A, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“I decided to try this place for lunch today. I got there around 11:30 and it was pretty empty inside. I was able to order quickly. I got the lunch special stir fried noodles with chicken and a Jasmine milk tea. I got the milk tea super quickly. It's pretty good! Not too sweet and very creamy. I upgraded to a large for $.50. It did take a little while to get my food, but it wasn't too bad. The portion of the lunch special is quite a lot. Definitely more than I can eat in one sitting. The flavor of the noodles is pretty simple, but still good. I like all the veggies and pineapple. Overall I'm really happy with my first visit.”

Dat Guy's Wingz

“RECOMMENDED!!!! I went with my cousins and brothers to their pop up In Fontana and let me tell you... BEST decision ever. If you want quality service and quality food at a great price...Then check them out. The Dom Sauce was our favorite and the French fries were BOMB AF. The wings are crispy and seasoned to perfection. One order will not be enough, trust me. You will thank me later.”

Najwa's Mediterranean Cuisine

Address: 24711 Redlands Blvd, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“Probably my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the area. It's a nice quiet restaurant with good service. Expect to wait a little for your food, but I would say it's worth it. So far we have tried chicken kebab, beef kebab, triple dip sampler, falafel plate, and chicken pita sandwich. From what I've tried I would recommend the kebab plates or the sandwich combos.”

East Coast Bagels

Address: 11215 Mountain View Ave # 189, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“Easy to miss, my friends and I stumbled on this bagel shop while turning around in the parking lot. The bagels are good, nothing special. My friends and I got the lox bagel, the tuna melt on jalepeno bread, and salt bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese is apparently made in house and the food was decent but just not worth the price. If you're a big bagel fan, this may be a location worth trying.”

Campus Cafetería

“A lot of the the food here you can just make by reheating sauce and boiling some pasta. It's about as fast food Italian as you can get. Food is just average but the garlic bread here is definitely worth trying. Heads up they don't take credit cards so be prepared with debit or cash. Also not open on weekends.”

Papa John's Pizza

Thai Spoon 2

Address: 25596 Barton Rd, Loma Linda, CA 92354, USA

Restaurant

“One of the newer Thai spots that popped up in the area not too long ago. Food is good, prices are great, service can be slow at times but it's generally when they're busy. The interesting thing is that the Pad Thai here tastes a little extra sweet, so combined with the peanuts it can taste like a PBJ. Otherwise the food is about similar to the Thai food at the other places in the area, but has a better location.”

Cafe Restaurant

“I visit this McDonald's restaurant regularly and I still cannot think of a single thing to complaint about. This location always provides fast, friendly, and professional quality service. The food I order from here has always met my expectations and left me satisfied. The inside of this restaurant has also met my expectations and probably the expectations of most other people by providing a very well presented and clean place to enjoy a meal at all times of the day. Although there's isn't a play area for the children mine still enjoy their every visit. A job well done here!”
