Culichi Town Montclair

Came here for a birthday celebration, food was good, for me I thought it was a little over price though. Great customer service even though they where really busy. If you want to go listen to live music it's great but not if you want to sit and have a conversation with someone. You cant hear anything but the music.

My husband and I went on a Saturday night like around 8pm. We got seated right away and there was a live band playing. The place wasn’t as packed as I thought it would be on a Saturday night but the service was friendly and fast. I ordered the shrimp ceviche and my husband got the campechana. The food was good and the drinks were great; I had the mango margarita and my husband had the classic margarita with modelo. There are ladies walking around selling bouquet of roses and the band plays a song for you at 20 bucks a pop, I thought that was pricey but considering that there’s 10 men in the band I guess that’s why they charge so much. The place looked clean and I like all the big screen TVs they have in there. I honestly don’t know if I would go again but it was a nice experience for our first date out without the baby.

Very loud live music, but the food is a really interesting experience. Worth a try! Edit: in response to the owner's response, I want to emphasize that the food was good. I'm not recommending against it. And the music was enjoyable. Just if people are sensitive to noise/want to have a conversation its not ideal for them. Also, if you are interested in fusion foods this is a place you must check out.
