Delicious except no seasoning. Rather bland. No salt in their crust recipe.

This place really made my childhood, my earliest memories of joey’s are from 24 years ago but I know they’ve been here even longer. I don’t remember much from 24 years ago about the food, but their pasta was the only kind of pasta my very picky mother would enjoy eating (and that says a lot lol). I think they’ve changed owners a few times. Recently, I got their joey’s special pizza for to go but didn’t get to eat it until 2 hours later. But it was still wonderful! The dough was soft but still had a crisp, you can tell it was well-kneaded and well-rested dough. The dough also had a nice fragrance and mouth-feel. Pizza sauce was fresh, not watery. Toppings were top quality. Prices were not so bad, considering inflation. The place itself feels like it’s a Time Capsule from the 80’s, it might need renovations, but we’re honestly more interested with the food at this point. I hope Joey’s stays open for a good long time!
