“I am such a Burger King fan! I've always loved their signature whoppers, cheese burgers, chicken sandos and fries. Growing up (High school, specifically ), we needed something cheap to bring to the beach. Friends and I ordered dozen cheeseburgers for $1 a piece and have them last most of the day! Fast forward many years later even after culinary school, I hate to admit, I still crave the flame grilled burger once in a blue moon. Thankfully now they offer the whopper jr. which always satisfies the craving! This particular location is very small, when we arrived half of the tables were dirty and the area near the soda station. The restroom clean and customer service good! They were quick to clean the tables and nice enough to bring the food to us which ?? do they still do this? Good deals!! Give them a try if you are near and craving BK”

“Great, I loved the iced coffee and my daughter enjoyed her frozen yogurt. One of the owners (I believe she is) greeted me and my toddler and made sure we enjoyed our purchase. “My dad introduced me to Kape Republik and said I needed to try their Halo-Halo because it is one of the best he’s tried in SoCal. He was right! The Halo-Halo was one of the best I’ve had! The ice was fine, the beans weren’t hard, it has chewy boba, Ube halaya, jackfruit, an assortment of other mix-ins, and it’s topped with a scoop of Ube ice cream and crunchy pinipig. It’s a little sweet but it’s such a great treat. (Note: The 2nd time I ordered, it didn’t have Ube Halaya). I also enjoyed their Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie - so chewy and good. They have a variety of crinkles (pandan, strawberry, mocha, guava, etc.) but my favorite is the Chocolate Fudge Crinkle. I also enjoyed their Calamansi Juice. Kape Republik is located just west of the 15 and south of the 60 in Ontario Ranch/Eastvale across the parking lot from Rodeo X. They have a handful of parking spaces at storefront shared with Rodeo X. This cute little shop is inviting. The service here has always been great. The young lady at the counter is super sweet and so kind. She has such a welcoming and friendly smile! Overall, I’ve visited a few times now and will be back again. Especially for yummy Halo-Halo! :)”

Service was efficient but minimal – our waiter took the order, someone else delivered the food. They cap your stay at 90 minutes, which is fair considering the bustling atmosphere. “Our family decided to head out for a late lunch. We decided that we'd try a new restaurant in the area, no matter what cuisine they specialized in. Today, that place was IL Toro Rosso. Besides us, there was only a couple dining at the same time. We were greeted by a friendly waitress. We were handed their lunch menu fairly promptly. The place is nicely appointed. They have an impressive bar from what I've seen. We ordered a burrata pizza to share and different pastas and sauces. I was excited to try their carbonara as the description said it had "guanciale and pecorino ". Finally, a local place that's offering authentic carbonara! Sadly, the dish I ordered was extremely underwhelming, actually off-putting. It did not taste authentic at all. The pizza crust was soggy on our burrata pizza. The carbonara sauce on my spaghetti did not have guanciale, but pancheta which was a decent sub, but it had a bunch of minced onions that dominated the entire dish! The menu description said it was going to have peas in the sauce; there were none which was not traditional anyway.The kids said their pastas were "fine" which translates to "blah." From what I've tried from a bite of theirs, the sauces were under-seasoned. How can an Italian restaurant mess up pomodoro and pesto sauces? This place doesn't make the cut as a "now we know" where to go for delicious and authentic pasta and pizza. I almost felt inclined to warn other patrons who were just arriving, but maybe their taste preferences differ from mine. As for us, we won't be returning, nor will we be recommending this place to our friends and family.”
