Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

During the weekends expect to wait about an hour and a half for two people about 2 hours for a party of 4+. The bar area has open seating but you have to be quick to get a table once one opens up. The ribs are good and the hamburgers are also a good choice to go with. I ordered the sirloin steak and it was not all that, I asked for medium steak and it was almost well done and it was cold. The loaded mashed potatoes was the best thing i had here.

Best BBQ on the planet. Don't let the long wait discourage you. Go walk through Victoria gardens for a little while. Trust me it's worth it

Tried it for the very first time yesterday as a Lunch Date with my boyfriend. Great customer service and the food was really great. The drinks were also perfect. Will definitely be going back, even wanted to go back yesterday at night again as it was that good.

Lucille’s has one of the best happy hours around. There are plenty of food and drink options at very reasonable prices. We loved sitting in the bar munching on gumbo, rib tips, and biscuits with cinnamon honey butter. Definitely try a mint Julep or one of the branded beers (I like the red ale). This location gets slammed during the dinner rush so get there early or be prepared for a lengthy wait.

Being from North Carolina, I was a little hesitant when my brother want to have lunch. Let me say that Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que can give North Carolina BBQ a run for it’s money. I ordered the pork ribs and my sister ordered the pulled pork. Portions at lunch large enough to share. The sides were awesome -greens seasoned to perfection, Mac and cheese very cheesy and creamy. My brother got the beef ribs and potato salad. Taste like my mother’s along with the deviled eggs. Oh yeah and the biscuits and cornbread great. I didn’t have dessert, but they looked delicious. It is a must have place to eat if you visit the area.
