Tacos galore - Ibasa was a great little stop in the Haven City Market, especially that wonderful elote.

The star of Ibasa really is the elote. There's different kinds of elote to try - I got to take a bite from the spicier and lemon-y ones (unfortunately didn't catch the names). The spicier one was a-mazing. Not super spicy but just had a lot of flavor and was cheesy / butter-y all the way through. It made me super happy to eat through and the lemon-y one was pretty solid all-around too.

I also got to try the chicken tacos which were good as well as the green and orange salsas. Definitely appreciated having the salsas on hand as I'm a super sauce-y guy (take that as you will). The tacos aren't big but are the typical street tacos you see around Los Angeles. My tacos were brimming with protein so you'll have some fall out while you eat - make sure to grab a fork to get all the juicy morsels on the ground. I did see the other tacos like the shrimp / fish which were also a good size as well as even a bone marrow taco that I'll have to give a try next time.

Thanks to the crew at Ibasa for making me feel welcome and can't wait to come back next time!

These tacos are one of the best in all of socal. The meat is grilled to perfection. The tortillas have a rich corn flavor and the salsas are incredible. I will be a regular at Ibasa.

Came here for the Haven grand opening and with so many places to eat we decided to eat here. Man; was I happy I did. Line was long but worth the wait. Great service and even better were the tacos. The meat was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of condiments.
Will be making the trip once again.
