Old Country Coffee Shop

Excellent little coffee shop, the food is good the service is great, the price is perfect, they don't skimp on the portions and the very finest fruit of the forest pie. I will always return to this cozy little place!

It was yummy. We were starved. They let us in late and didn't rush us. Workers were very friendly. I got country fried steak that came with a lot of food and a delicious Oreo malt.

All the food is fresh you can watch them make your meal.

This was a nice little diner in Running Springs. It has all the quintessential diner things from the old signs and memorabilia on the wall to the classic breakfast dishes (a nice break from all the trendy try-hards in SD). It is busy (on the weekends) but the staff were nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. Not much room if you are waiting, but the turnaround on the tables is pretty quick and efficient. They do have a lot of Mexican dishes too on top of the traditional ones. It makes for lots of great options to choose from! I got an omelette which was delicious but I would not get the side of biscuits and gravy if I am in the area again. Hash browns were great and they ask how crispy you want them.
