Luau Maui Hawaiian BBQ

Very similar to Ono's. I ordered the Katsu combo. The portions were quite generous, the flavor was great. The decor of the place was quite nice. The cashier, Andrea, was very attentive. Great experience.

Usually I would leave 5 stars but I had a couple of issues. First, the food was great. Flavors were there and everything was cooked nicely. Except for the beef ribs that came with the Hawaiian BBQ mix. It was a little burnt. From what I tasted it seems like the seasoning or marinade used was the cause of how burnt it was. It tasted like burnt seasoning on the outside but the meat itself was tasty. Then there was the macaroni salad. I feel it needed maybe a tad bit more sugar and salt to bring out the flavor. If your wondering why I said sugar, it's because classic Hawaiian Mac is made with sugar added but not too much. Other than that I am completely satisfied with the service and food!

Restaurant was ample and clean. The workers are there working not really very friendly but just making sure everything is pretty stocked up. The food was great, warm and tasted so Delicious. Only thing I would had liked would had been for the Katsu sauce to be warmed up to go perfect with the chicken. Definitely recommend this place for the great tasting food. Second tone here and I definitely enjoyed.
