Dave's Hot Chicken

Dave's Hot Chicken is so damn good!
I was skeptical because I always read bad reviews before I read the good ones.
Glad I didn't listen to them haters because Dave's is BUSSIN!

Employees working were very friendly and welcoming.
My hubby and I decided to get their # 2 combos.
Comes with 2 sliders and fries.
I opted for Reaper style and hubby got the extra hot.
I had to sign a waiver for the Reaper ones.

The food was hot fresh and tasty AF!
Now, I can see how a few people said in their reviews that they are salty but if you get the sliders the kale slaw and pickles help off set the saltiness. I don't think I'd get the tenders by themselves because I think they need that slaw. It really makes them super tasty.
Overall the chicken is flavourful, moist, and, delicious.

I would definitely recommend coming out and trying them.

David was an amazing host. From his charismatic character to his kind words. He made the process both smooth and fast. The chicken sandwiches here are never disappointing. Except for pickles. Pickles are the devil. Great job team keep up the exceptional work. Try and find David. He's phenomenal!

Have to admit, it's pretty damn good chicken. I had the medium spice which was perfect for me, the slider with cheese was on point, thanks for the suggestion, fries were good, pickles crisp, just a good place for chicken. My mom was very impressed too, she had the hot spice, and she loved it too. Will definitely be coming back again! And the staff was really cool! Thanks!!🐓🔥

So far I've only ordered their food through Doordash, but every time has been amazing. Fries are fresh and crispy, chicken is juicy and tender, and the seasoning and breading is done to perfection. This isn't a place you get food from if you want a pristine and neat looking tray or box that a cafe would pack up for you. You can tell from the steam coming out of the food containers and excess seasoning on the bags that you're in for a fresh meal full of flavor.

So long as it's open when I'm craving fried chicken, I'll always be going to Dave's Hot Chicken first.

Update, I originally had this review at 3 stars heavily criticizing the chicken because of the spice of the chicken being too much without enough of the actual favor. I was around the area again and I decided to give it another shot and they really performed this time! I got the tender and slider combo (with no spice this time) and it arrived in around 4 minutes, and even though it said *no spice* it still had a little kick to it which I loved! The buns were perfect and the chicken was nice and crispy and the sauce made it 10x's better. Honestly it was so much better this time. The combo without a drink is still a little pricey. If you are a first timer to Dave's Hot Chicken then I recommend to you to start off with no spice or very light spice to begin with, just so that you don't get a bad first impression, then if you want, you can work your way up. You should definitely try it out if you have the extra cash.
