It was a little pricey but all worth it. Nice little establishment for some good food, and you don't even have to go off base!
Big portions for a reasonable price, everytime me and my marines come here we never have a issue with the service or the food. The taste of the food from this place is phenomenal, just amazing plus they have a good selection of beer and drinks. Just wish they had a location on Camp Pendleton.
Very big portions. If you're not too hungry, remember to order the half portions. Food is good. I ordered Ravioli Mushroom. It was a little overflow of much mushrooms were in this dish. Like smothered. But it was still good. Would go there again but order something else and in half portions.
They have definitely upgraded within the past few years. The menu has a good selection to choose from. The food is always good, and it comes with quite a bit. You definitely get what you pay for. For a military base restaurant I'm always impressed. The customer service here is always good. I wouldn't say I agree with how one of the owners treats his employees, but if that's not something you care about then I'd recommend eating here.
I love this place (since the change in ownership); I'm not sure what it was like before. Serving staff has always been very friendly, prompt, and courteous. Stephanie is awesome! Pitchers are cheap compared to other places on MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. Atmosphere attempts to be Italian with a Marine flavor which is fun. Prices for entrees are medium to high, but the portion sizes generally cover you for 2-3 meals if you box them to go. The pizza here is the best within 30+ miles! It's better than "Pie for the People" if you ask me, and I was born in New York! A great place on base to "get away" with a group of your peers and enjoy pizza, beer, and camaraderie.
