“FANTASTIC FOOD!! 1st the table salsa is perfect. If you know you know. That alone is a fair judge of a place's food. My husband and I can't get enough of their chili rellenos! Expertly cooked. Not mushy, but you can pull the stem out easily and the Ranchero sauce they serve on it defines delicious. They have a crazy selection on their menu, so we have a lot to try. They are newly opened and still working on their ambiance but I know they will get there. The only dish I'm not excited about so far are the tamales, but to be fair, everyone's taste is different. Their tacos, chimichangas, carnitas, and anything with that amazing Ranchero sauce I can tell you from experience is worth the trip every time! Try this place!!!”

“The place was your typical smaller town bar feel with restaurant seating in the back and a table up front in the bar area. The music they played was great and they have two large TV's going. The staff were really nice and the service was pretty quick and they always checked up on us, even though it was one person serving and making drinks for everyone there. GREAT selection for cocktails and beer. The food was also good, if your from a big city the food might not compare but for the surrounding area it was really good. They serve burgers, and Mediterranean food etc. recommend the brisket and the hummus. If you want something other than Mexican I would recommend this place for sure!”

“Give the Cactus Trails Cafe a try. They offer good basic food served fresh with generous portions. You can order takeout to go, or dine with shaded patio seating along Adobe Road. The wait staff is attentive and do their best despite the recent summer heat. The owners and staff opened up after the coronavirus pandemic shut everybody else down. I recommend the cheeseburger meal combo. Support this business! This is American entrepreneurial spirit at its best. It is good food from a small home town restaurant.”

“They were cheap and easy to get in and out of. I was pulling a small trailer and had absolutely no problems. I didn't go inside, but the pumps seemed to work well and they were clean. It was best priced place I could see on this road and it was close to Joshua Tee National Park. Great basic gas station, I would go here again.”
