Good Great... Communication poor...

I, however, had an unfortunate situation in which I didn't want to make a scene and argue with staffing. Here's how it went down: I asked about the salmon dinner and was up-sold, without my knowledge. The waitress told me about a better fish without mentioning that there would be an additional increase in price. She made it sound as if it would just be a switch. I believe it was a Norwegian Halibut instead of the salmon. Well, the price showed up as $32 instead of the $19. I was taken back but just took it in the shorts. Oh well!!!

Great place in Upland for a high end meal. Their wine Wednesdays are absolutely worth it (I would recommend the $7 and $9 specials and avoid the $5 ones). The short ribs and lasagna are enough to keep me coming back.

About a month ago we had our Christmas office lunch here for about 17 people in their back room. They did a fantastic job, timely with the drinks, great food appetizers. It was our first time here for this event, we usually had it elsewhere and I am glad we made the change. I come to the heights often for drinks and food, highly recommended.

Went for desert and drinks. The desert portions are large and tasty and the drinks were very well made. Moreover, the service was great. Also it was not super crowded and the noise was not bad so my wife and I could talk with ease.

My department came in for a Christmas lunch and we left ecstatic and in a food-coma. Our waitress brought us freshly-brewed coffee as we made out decisions. The menu was not big, but it did have a good diversity of foods. You can keep it simple with a sandwich or go all out with ribs. Since we couldn't settle, we asked for her suggestions, and she gave us as much detail as she could about the dishes. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic. We got tender meats and flavorful creams and sauces. We will be back here again. No matter what you choose to eat, you will make the right choice.
