Brisket was fall apart tender. Perfect proportion of fat to meat. Although it didn't need sauce, I tried Chef D's BBQ sauce. I'm a big fan of KC/St. Louis style sauces and this one was right up there with the best. Very informal atmosphere.

I went there today 3/4/23 we waited for a while because we ordered bbq chicken but they ran out they offered us other meats we ended up taking the smothered chicken.
Pros: the food is good I suggest the mac&cheese it won’t disappoint. The baked beans were delicious as well. The food is flavorful and the bbq sauce is delicious. They gave us a discount for the long wait.

Cons: The smothered chicken was okay had too much pepper and I wish I had gotten a different meat, the ribs were tough and I mean tough we could not finish them which is unfortunate since I love ribs. Imma add a picture and I hope they cook them longer moving forward. Cause these seemed to borderline under cooked lastly Not enough bbq sauce and they don’t give much meat for the price. I will end this by saying if they cook those ribs longer and make sure they have what the customer orders I would definitely say 5 stars cause the flavor was there.

Hands down the best southern style BBQ in the high desert! Come check them out for yourselves. No negativity please. The owner is charismatic and hardworking. Thank you guys!

If you aint been there you need to go there, I been there a few times, i took my momma twice, been a couple time by my self, i even brought home a plate, my old lady took it down and i had to go back the next day. So far ive tried the brisket, the ribs, both flavors of links, the greens mac n cheese, the yams, the potato salad, corn bread and the chicken leg quarters. Out of and the different food ive tried there i cannot find nothing to complain about. The food is good the service is good the prices are decent. they take visa master card and good old American cash. Im goin back this weekend. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤩🤩🤩🤩

Great food! The Yams are top 3 im ever had. Good portion size. Order of preference regarding taste: 1. Pork ribs 2. Brisket 3. Chicken. I will be going back again and again!
