Had a blast here for dessert and a cold drink. Staff was friendly and indoor vibe was pretty chill. We dined in and staff wore masks, there were just a few tables seated so everything felt very comfortable.
We both ordered the mud pie (ice cream cake) and loved it, but couldn't finish the entire slice. My Modelo draft was on point.
Ironically, a group of gay men bought my husband and I two lemon martinis just to be kind – which we greatly appreciated. Who knew Borrega Springs was so progressive :)
I arrive at this unique place often because I like the ambiance that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally loyal and qualified. The service is impressively fast. Needless to say, the food they cook is first-rate. I came often and I was always joyful. The payment is modest. I suggest this restaurant to to everybody.
12 of us had dinner here. The food was delicious all around. The scallops were jumbo and excellent. The ribs fell off the bone, very good. The shrimp salad was gigantic. Even the chicken noodle soup was large, but filled to the max with home made goodness. We loved it.
I was visiting my childhood friend Bonny, I was out from Boston. We got take out. Let me tell you, I love a good burger & I was not disappointed! It was absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great experience! Everyone was so friendly too. I highly recommend Carlee’s
Surprise in the desert! The 50s style building is right on the road to the State Visitor Center just off the biggest roundabout I've ever seen. It was dark walking in but the place is clean and the staff is friendly. The server was very nice and helpful. We had the Carlee burger which has bacon and avocado and the Jalapeño burger. They ask how wheel you want it cooked, usually a sign that the cook knows what to do! They were cooked exactly as ordered and very tasty, good quality beef. I had the coleslaw for the side and my husband had the fries. Both were excellent. They have a full bar but we only had lemonade. The patrons looked like they enjoyed their various drinks. There is ample room for families on one side and quieter booths on the other. Highly recommend this place.
