    This place was amazing. Great service, coffee and food. The omelet’s are delicious and very reasonably priced. Went a couple times this week and when we return to Carlsbad my wife and I will be there again

    Our favorite Carlsbad breakfast and lunch location. Be sure to check hours of operation before you go. Excellent food and service in a comfortable location. Good parking. Fun to sit on patio and watch the downtown action.

    We enjoyed the Daily News Cafe for lunch. Everything was very fresh and good, with a great presentation. The waitress was excellent! Then our friends happened to come in and decided to sit with us. (that made 4 more) Everyone was so helpful and within minutes they were seated and comfortable and their orders were taken. We were impressed by their readiness to make everything work smoothly! Thank you Daily News Cafe!

    Had a lovely winter Sunday morning coffee and banana muffin on the porch. Service was great and my coffee was ready before I checked out. Muffin was hot out of the oven. I will be back again.
