Quaint French restaurant located in Carlsbad. Make reservations ahead of time since they do get busy even on a Thursday night. At both visits I sat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly and very attentive. I've ordered the Wagyu beef twice. The servings are small but enough for me. I also love the Japanese Bread and Baguette. Yummy! I always leave satisfied.
Lovely French restaurant. Stunning presentation of food. I could tell they had spent a lot of time on the presentation. And taste was as good as the looks. Server was very friendly and cultured. Various flavored blended perfectly for the palate. I took the Chefs Menu - they pick what they bring - and it was fantastic. Favorites were the Oyster, Scallops. Dessert was a stunning finale to the whole meal. Was seated outside - the heater was pretty good in winter - didn’t feel too cold.
Finally, not another American new or Italian restaurant!
One of the best dinner experiences we've had in San Diego. Period. So happy this place has opened, we'll be coming back regularly to enjoy the fantastic drinks and fine dining experience.

Came back a second time, and I'll say it again. Best dinner in San Diego. Hopefully many chefs will follow suite and start talking creative food creation seriously in this area.
As a former New Yorker that moved here 6 years ago, I've been craving food that makes you say "wow" with every bite and have struggled to find these types of experiences in San Diego.
Yes there's absolutely good food everywhere, but that Michelin type of experience that is expertly crafted and is combined with ambience and service is seriously lacking.
This place steps up to the challenge and delivers a unique, inviting, and creative food experience which North County desperately deserves.
Tasting menu is so innovative! Oysters with horse radish foam starts your 6 course meal perfectly. All the foods are designed so well and the beach town ambience makes the experience perfect!
It’s rare to go to a new restaurant around here and be blown away. Not just by the food but the ambiance, and decor. Exquisite quality come through in absolutely every detail from the ice cubes to the ingredients of both the food and drinks. I love the mauve booths, open kitchen, and circular bar. The staff was wonderful, the food impeccable, atmosphere wonderfully novel.
