Dragon's Den

Let’s just say the food was very underwhelming. Having eaten in the buffet and other restaurants in the original hotel, we expected a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. It wasn’t bad per say, just not that good. The best part was the interactive sessions the staff had with the kids, but you can get that in the lobby as well. Needless to say, we didn’t go back and we don’t plan to in the future.

4.5 stars, -.5 stars for subpar service. One of the better hotel breakfast. We like the breakfast buffet better then Amber Wave (Knott's), Goof's Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel), Storytellers Cafe (Grand Californian Hotel).

Food was solid service could be better. It's nice they serve alcohol. Watermelon sorbet was too minty. Really it's a 3.5 for me.

We went here for dinner one night and the free breakfast in the morning. Both times we found the food to be excellent. As with the hotel, the staff is the only negative. It seems like there are a few servers with proper experience and therefore are good. The majority seem like they have never worked in a restaurant before. At dinner our server didn't even seem to know where he was. We had to ask for drink refills every time we needed them and we also had to point out that our meal came with a choice to ensure we got what we wanted. The person who brought our food had no idea what she was serving us. The experience at breakfast was better, but since it was limited to drink and omelet orders with everything else being a buffet, it was no surprise. Hopefully in the coming weeks things will improve.
