Norte Mexican Food

We liked Norte so much that we came two days in a row. The burritos we're great, we couldn't get enough tacos and the staff was extremely friendly, even though we had some rambunctious kids. A great anchor place in the neighborhood!

Excellent Mexican food, with great selection and options. The outdoor seating is awesome with open fires to keep warm and a traditional feeling. Parking is a bit hit or miss.

Great window seating ocean view of Carlsbad Beach. Delicious variety of Mexican food. Large well decorated restaurant + bar with happy hour. Great food options even for vegans. Good service. Free parking nearby which is important in downtown Carlsbad

I stopped in for an appetizer and a drink with friends and family. The service was good and the appetizer tasted great. The best part was the place had a great atmosphere and I had a good time. I would recommend this place to anyone for dinner or just a quick stop. You'll like it a lot and have a good time. Enjoy.

We visited Norte Mexican a few weeks ago on a whim, with our dogs in tow. The staff were all so nice! It was happy hour, so they invited us to either sit on the bar patio or the outdoor dining patio. Both patios are very large, with lots of space. We sat on the bar patio, and they had outdoor fire pits going - fabulous because it was a cool day. We had the Mexican street tacos - they were a great deal - and we were kind of shocked at how delicious they were, considering the low price. Every ingredient in the tacos seemed fresh and high quality. We didn't really expect that from a Mexican restaurant this tourist zone. We are locals, so we will definitely try Norte again.
