    Grand Avenue Bar & Grill has got to be the most nondescript bar I've ever seen. No flashy signage, no blaring music and not in the heart of the village. A cool little divey bar. We enjoyed great service and cheap drinks. We didn't order food, but we were tempted to! Inside the unassuming walls it is reminiscent of an Elks lodge not your typical bar and grill.     When someone recommends a bar for fresh caught seafood pasta and homemade posole you can't help but react with genuine skepticism. Fortunately now I can be the one to see the faces of skeptical people because this food was good!
    Other positives: The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, the service was fast and attentive, and best of all, no wait or reservation needed on a Friday night during a holiday weekend. You better believe everywhere else was packed and double the price.

    The "G Spot" is a friendly local bar in downtown seaside Carlsbad Ca. They have all the usual drinks including local craft beers on tap. Good grub to keep busy while drinking. Noisy and boisterous at time but all in good fun.
