Tacos El Gordo

Parking and service were a bit slow but trust me it is MORE than worth it. We constantly eat here. The food is delicious and made to order that's why it takes a but while. The seasoning of the food, ambiance, and the staff were 10/10!

I went here about 8 pm. Lines form here for food. It is a very popular place. I ordered some food. I paid and then waited, eating radishes. My food never came as droves about me got theirs. I asked about my order and was told to pay while it was prepared. I finally asked for a refund and, after more than half an hour in the restaurant, left with just a few radishes.

The tacos are delicious. Drive thru is super slow. Even if it's busy it seems like its better to just get off and order inside, then go back to your car.

This is one of those places where you just can't go wrong, and if you're from out of town you will have a cool "food trip" story to bring back home. It combines that smokey street taco flavor with that border town vibe, and packs everything into a quick-grab-n-go eatery known famously as - Taco El Gordo. The longest line is usually the "carne asada" taco line, but if you want to open up your palette and experience why locals are hiding a secret from you, then dig in and try the other flavors of meat. Your semi-cautious food trip will now turn into a glorious food adventure you can almost brag about.
