Good atmosphere and the service was good. Parking is difficult to find but anyone who goes to Coronado should already expect that. The food could have been better. It was still good, but I'm a huge critic when it comes to the mushroom and Swiss burger. Very friendly staff.
Great area on Coronado island and well worth the scenic ferry ride from downtown San Diego. A good burger & Bar joint within walking distance from Centennial Park and Sand Diego skyline viewpoint. Big, busy corner location overlooking the bay. Great people watching location from the outdoor patio area. Offered a nicely varied beer selection. Food was good. Little pricey for lunch. Just too much food. TVs all around. Definitely a sports bar.Good size drinks. Nice atmosphere. Friendly servers. Will go back again.
My favorite place to get food and a drink at night on Coronado. ???? Overall a good experience. The service can be better but didn’t take away from the experience. I have to say better than I expected when it comes to the food.
Still a great place to eat though!????
The burger was meaty, somewhat juicy, and thick. The bread was also thick so hold the sauce and the toppings really well.
The toppings were fresh especially the lettuce.
The fries were hot and fresh with crispiness and thickness them. Finish everything in 30 minutes and it’s free. FYI parking can be a pain so prepare to walk a distance.
First time Nicky’s Rottens Bar & Burger Joint. Overall a good experience. The service can be better but didn’t take away from the experience. I have to say better than I expected when it comes to the food. The burger was meaty, somewhat juicy, and thick. The bread was also thick so hold the sauce and the toppings really well. The toppings were fresh especially the lettuce. I don’t know what they do with your lettuce but it was crisp. Every bite was like crisp, crisp . . . and more crisp. The fries were hot and fresh with crispiness and thickness them. The tater tots were also delicious and they do give so many of them; Nicky, you are so generous. Nicky will definitely will hit the spot for you so come hungry. Also, if you’re up for a challenge, try their 2 1/2 lb burger challenge. Finish everything in 30 minutes and it’s free. FYI parking can be a pain so prepare to walk a distance. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.
