Stratford Court Cafe

One of the best breakfast places in Del Mar! I've visited here each time I pass through town and it's a beautiful spot. Great food, fast and friendly service, plus a gorgeous patio with sounds of the ocean! They're also dog friendly which I LOVE!

Great, friendly staff in a neighborhood beachy/jungle setting with outdoors seating. Great for breakfast with scrambles, baked goods and breakfast burritos.

Parking is a tad bit difficult (street parking) being that it's San Diego and there's not much public parking lots. Finding the line was a little odd and crowded (albeit they moved later so it was easier to see and get to). I loved the atmosphere and they're very doge friendly though.

I ordered a Stratford Scramble with no cheese and avocado. I'm a huge fan of eggs and was disappointed to find that their scramble looked (and tasted) like it was made from the carton liquid eggs rather than fresh eggs. It gave that really strange tofu(y) texture and didn't taste anything like real eggs. It was also very bland in flavor. I probably won't order this again if I come back. Lol. But willing to give them another try and order something else.

A very good restaurant, it has a perfect view. Great ambience! and delicious reasonably priced food! Wonderful customer service.

Thursday at noon brunch. Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to order with good menu options. The food was all perfectly cooked so kudos to the cook for that. The croissant was fresh and lightly toasted, the eggs where cooked perfectly (rarely does one get perfect cooked eggs from a restaurant) and the yummy red potatoes where also fresh and cooked perfectly. Nice shaded outdoor deck seating with space heaters as well. Good location.
