Yvonne and her helper Klaudia make incredible sandwiches. I literally run to get them and then run backup the hill and share them with my family. what a treat

I really like this place as a sandwich shop. the quality is spot on... fresh veggies and bread, top quality Boar's Head meats. It's everything you need in a sandwich. The ladies that make the food are friendly and welcoming. This is the most economical lunch in Del Mar village area by far. You can even call in your order so its ready when you get there. Watch the time though, they shut down the deli at 2 pm. They have two little outside tables on the side of the building but I've never been able to sit at one because they were already taken. I eat here about once a week for lunch.

For such a tiny place, they have an excellent selection of wines and spirits as well. Not that I'm picking up a 5th and a straw to go with my roast beef, but I have brought a nice bottle of red home to share with my wife now and again.
