You can burn some time here with the kiddos. They have a play ground, a carousel, bumper cars, Lazer tag, and a cart ride. They have some arcade games. They serve pizza and salads. A good alternative to going to the park I guess.
The place hasn't changed since from when I was a kid, but honestly, that's not a bad thing. They've upgraded to using card instead of coins and added some new arcade games. It's not the fanciest place but it's not too expensive. The games range from .60-$1.75 a play. Each credit is about 5 cents. So $20 gets you around 400 credits.
This place is dated, it smells like an attic, but my daughter and I had a great time. The games are cool, the staff are very nice and helpful, the bathrooms were clean. I blew about $50 immediately just to have unlimited access to rides and arcade games.
I gave it 5 stars because we had a birthday party there. Amongst the chaos the staff had it very organized. Even the adults had fun. I recommend getting the Birthday packages. We got the Lazer tag and it was a memorable birthday for all.
I’ve been coming to this same boardwalk since I was a kid, now I’m bringing my kids here. U can take that as an indication of either it being a pretty good place or just the closest bowling alley.
This is not one of those new, high end, hipster bowling alleys. This place has been here for decades. Set your expectations accordingly and you’ll have a good time.
The food at the bowling alley is great for having a bowling party with your friends. There was a friendly bar service at the lane on Friday, and the restaurant staff was nice.
The provided balls are all past their prime, but the lanes are nice. You won’t care, and if you do you’ll be bringing your own anyways.
The boardwalk has plenty of games, some rides and it’s own food. I haven’t been to this side in a while so can’t add as much.
Take your family to bowl, take your friends to bowl. Especially get out of the heat in the summer days.
