City Tacos

The CAMARON ENCHILADO Taco is one of the best things I have ever eaten! Delicious shrimp with amazing flavor, super fresh ingredients and the best sauce. It is my new favorite taco! It is quite spicy, so you gotta like spice. The regular CAMARON taco is outstanding too.
The prices are amazing for all of those gourmet ingredients! I love getting fancy food in a comfortable setting!

I didn't love the fish taco, but the Carnitas taco was delicious. My daughter loved the Mexicali, with beef and potatoes, and the CHORIZO ASADO. The Chorizo is fantastic. The Pollo City and the Borrego (lamb) are unique and delicious. And the CHILE RELLENO taco is another favorite.

This place makes us very happy. The staff is also really exceptional; we are so impressed with them every time we go. And, I had no idea that they had such life-changing tacos. ;) These are the kind of tacos you crave and dream about!

I rarely do reviews but these tacos are awesome! Just like they look on the pictures and the taste is off the wall. Easy to eat on the go but with outdoors seating during these back to “normal” times.

They're open---and you can sit outside! Customer service here gets 5 stars as they're always so nice and helpful there. I've been here three times now since I got back into town, and I really like their:
- Tlacoyo with chicken, which is a torpedo-shaped "panini" of sort that's stuffed with mashed potatoes & coated with masa---delicious! It's a little spicy as well, so I get a side of guacamole. Must be eaten while it's still hot though to get the full deliciousness.
- Camaron taco, which is a fried shrimp taco with squash, corn, cilantro, & a delicious sauce. It's flavorful and having the squash in there gets some of your veggies in. I'm definitely going back to get this again!
- Hibiscus tea, which is flavorful & not too sweet.

There are some other cool new things in their "Something Different" menu the menu that I look forward to trying soon! There's plenty of parking in the lot, and there's a table with a cool firepit, and even a foosball table! Definitely give this place to try! I will be back to try other things on their menu.

These tacos are amazing! They are seriously some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. I loved every single taco I’ve tried so far, but my favorite is the Mexicali that has steak, potatoes, sautéed onions and cheese. It’s incredible! My mom especially loves the Camaron Enchilado taco which I learned is only served at this Encinitas location.

The staff has been wonderful too. I would return here for their service alone, even if these weren’t the best tacos in the world ????

They have the most amazing tacos! Encinitas is fortunate to have this place. Super creative. Great veggie options. Worried there will soon be a line out the door every time I come.
