The staff is always so happy when you come in. Everything we have ordered has been great, I highly recommend the Cajun chicken tenders.
This is seriously the best fried chicken of all the fried chicken spots. Popeye's is a distant second in my book. The biscuits here are unreal. The only biscuit that beats this one is sold at Juniper and Ivy in downtown but the price points are oceans apart.
Their boneless wings are perfect portions and their bone in fried chicken wings are incredible. Today's visit was the 8 piece special, 6 biscuits, red beans and rice and drinks all for under $20.
There is a quote on their side order that reads "America's Best kept fast food secret". I can't recall the name of the person the quote is attributed to but I would agree 100%.
If you go, DO NOT, I can't emphasize this enough, DO NOT miss their biscuits.
A million times better than franchised chicken! Crispy in the outside and juicy in the center! Served hot and fresh! No pictures.... couldn't stop eating. Lol
The fries chicken was not too oily and for us it was made to order. Because of that it took some waiting but it was fresh and piping hot. The chicken was very moist and their ranch dipping sauce complimented the chicken very well. We also ordered it with a side of mashed potatoes (no gravy since the gravy is not halal). We'll definitely be coming back. We're especially interested in trying out the chicken tenders and the Mac and cheese side.
Fried chicken was really good. We decided on chicken from this place because this was the time that Popeye's was really busy because of their chicken sandwich. The restaurant might be hard to find because it has a Chinese name like Tomlin D it something like that. The sign at the street says Mongolian BBQ I believe, which is what lead us to this restaurant in the first place.
