    We buy our fresh hot pandesal here. This location is better. Service is always friendly.

    One of the best of Filipiko bakery. You can find the common Filipino bread, desserts and baked snacks in this local bakery nested in the heart of heavily Filipino populated part of National City. Best to get the Pandesal hot in the early morning or around 4pm.

    It was a journey to find this place, once we found it we realized they accept CASH ONLY ????. After a short trip across the street to SDSU to use the ATM, I was back on our family bread quest. After making it through the three homeless people outside( who weren't asking for money but some of the bake products which is a hint to me that this must be an amazing place,) it was back to the register. Me and my daughter were greeted again with warmth and a smile as well as assorted baked goods. If it wasn't for the vagrents and the unexpected cash only dilemma this place is excellent. Simply constructed no gimmicks just baked goodness.
