“One of the best poke places I've ever eaten at. The fish is very fresh and the bowls are hearty in size. I ordered delivery three times and forgot to take pictures because it looked so good. So all you get on this one is an empty bowl from a satisfied customer. The avocado was really good every time. Update. This place is so good that I had it one more time before I left San Diego. I managed to get a picture halfway through my meal.”

Got the Habanero and mixed it with the mild. Then later just used the Habanero. I like spicy!!! And it Rocked!!!”

“Ordered 2 jollof combos (1 chicken and 1 goat). The chicken tasted good, I enjoyed it. My friend on the other hand did not enjoy his goat, there wasn't much meat on the bones, it was mostly rice in the plate and the rice tasted burnt for both meals. The price is very high for what you get.”

“Ok, so hear me out on this. Paolo is into to something here. Wow! I am a sushi snob and would never have thought that Mexican and Sushi fusion would work. Boy was I wrong. This was some of the best sushi I have ever had outside traditional Japanese sushi. The facade and interior has a little left to be desired. I almost didn’t enter as I was clutching my pearls concerned for the safety and security at this location. They need to clean up the former 7-11 facade and make their interior a little more cozy. The place is obviously short staffed and a start up. I want to see them succeed, though! With some attention to interior decorating they could really have an all round 5 star joint here. Also for the price this value is great!”

“I was recommended this place by a coworker and decided to try it out since I was in the area. I was a bit disappointed when I tried the food. The arroz con gandules were cold, and the pernil was really dry. The amarillos just weren't there. Got a side of tostones, those were really good. I'm giving 3 stars for now because I do plan on going back and retrying. Maybe it was an off day. They had two small square tables and two chairs per table if you wanted to sit and dine. They were out of maltas and coco rico and other food items by 5pm, so make sure you get there earlier for more variety.”

“Loving these small pop-up! I'm so glad I got to try her dishes. The week I went she had Cambodian food on her menu which I admire because here in san diego you don't get a lot of authentic Cambodian food. This was the first time I had tried coconut milk with my vermicelli noodles dish and it does add a nice fresh taste to it! More creamy! She changes her menu every 2 weeks. At first I was was confused how to find the place, but it's located inside the market place and she cooks at Cafe Indonesia vendor (pink sign). She's there every Monday. Definitely would recommend and follow her on Instagram to see what's on her menu. I've looked at her past menu and wished I knew about it so I can give it all a try!”

“Hi everyone, so we came to Plaza Bonita to hang out and maybe have a coffee. I saw this new restaurant called Tajima Ramen and said, "Let's give it a review." I immediately wanted the veggie Ramen because I have in mind what's really good. So when I received the bowl, btw it is a healthy portion for $14.50, I said, is there any way that I could get a little more broth? They said no. I said I would be doing a review, and I'm going to be honest. They said it would cost an additional $2 or $4 for extra broth because it's premeasured. I get that. Being in PB is expensive. It's not the guys fault. He's doing his job. So that's the only reason why I put a lesser star. The food was stellar. Very delicious. I didn't ask for an egg because it would add up and be too expensive. I still recommend the place and hope u give it a try! I am a repeat customer now!”

“This was my first time at the Manna Plaza Bonita Location. It was a good experience. The service was also very good. I do have one negative thing and it’s a big one for me personally, the kimchi was super fermented and really soft and watery tasting . It was a little off putting since I tend to eat a lot of kimchi whenever I go to kbbq(I judge how good a kbbq spot is based on the kimchi and meat quality) aside from that the atmosphere is amazing, would probably come back again. I hope there’s better kimchi next time”
