Royal Mandarin

Omg I practically live here the service is wonderful, even when busy. The food is bomb. The quantities and prices are great. Totally recommend going to royal Mandarin. ❤❤

Always great food and service. I have been coming to this restaurant since high school and they were a small place back then now that they expanded, it is more spacious and shorter waiting during peak hours. The food is delicious, price is very reasonable, inexpensive lunch combos and friendly staff.

You cannot go wrong with Royal Mandarin if you're in the mood for yummy takeout, or you can always opt to dine-in; you choice. Portions here are reasonably priced and are good for 3-4 servings. I highly recommend the salt & pepper chicken wings, crispy, crunchy, delicious; you can alternately choose the all white meat nuggets if wings really aren't your thing. If dinning in, I recommend the hot tea, oolong in a pot with plenty of tea to last through your meal... did I mention it's only $1 dollar?

I've been told this is the place to go for salt and pepper chicken. I didn't have it myself but instead I tried the salt and pepper tofu and salt and pepper shrimp. ???? Wow, amazing. Saw they even do a salt and pepper fries ???????? it was crowded for a Monday night but our big group got in fast, there was plenty of parking, service was fast and so was the time it took to get our food. I'll definitely be going back.

By far hands down the best Chinese food in all of San Diego! Two things everyone should try here is the Salted Pepper Chicken Wings along with egg drop soup! The restaurant is clean and the staff are nice. If you go in at a busy time expect to for a table to open or you call for pick ups and reservations. All the plates are big! If you get two you could share with 4 people easily!

As stated the Salted Pepper Chicken Wings are some of the best I have had in a restaurant in the United States. I would say the best wings I have had were the lemon grass pepper chicken wings in Thailand!
