Vons Chicken

I went to try this new chicken place because a friend told me about it and said it was soooo good. It's good, but not amazing. I liked overall how their batter was light and very crispy. So you get enough crunch with every bite!

I ordered half of the crunch fried chicken wings/drums and half crunch fried chicken boneless. So I docked a star because their boneless option isnt boneless! I got 10 small party wings with the bone in for my half boneless order. For the other half order I got 3 full size drums, and 4 small party wings. So it's a bit confusing to me. I suggest to ask before ordering to make sure what you're getting. Secound reason I docked a star because they don't offer what's on the menu online, just the menu I posted a picture of. Hopefully they can offer lunch combos soon.
Also, parking is kinda hard to find due to its location. It's a shared building with apts, so dont park in the apt parking lot!

I had a full order of Crispy Fried Chicken. 20 pieces half mild and half spicy. The chicken was delicious and crispy. The spicy chicken had just the right amount of heat and was bursting with flavor! I highly recommend this place for the best fried chicken, Korean or otherwise in San Diego.
