Angry Chickz - Oceanside, CA

This place was a lot of fun. The atmosphere is light and friendly and the staff is great. The food you can get from no heat to angry heat for which you actually have to sign a waiver. Now, let me tell you that I've been to a lot of places that say they have spicy hot food, and my husband is always looking for the spiciest out there only to be disappointed every time. Needless to say, he was not impressed by having to sign the waiver. He got the combo #3 and the Angry Mac. He took a couple of bites of the #3 and exclaimed that it actually had some heat, but the coleslaw tempered it a bit. Then I watched as the heat slowly intensified. He started to sweat, his eyes were watering, and he said his mustache was burning off every time he exhaled from his nose! He ate about half before he finally had to stop. It was too much! Angry Chickz actually stuck it to my husband, and I couldn't be happier! I only wish we were local so we could go back. Oh, and the Angry Mac? My husband saved it for the next day because now it was a challenge. He took just a few bites and couldn't go on. I officially love this place! Hahaha!

From the moment you walk in the door, you know you went to the right place. Martin greeting me when I walked in the door. The greeting alone was memorable. I lived in Texas and North Carolina for many years and I know good chicken. I would have ordered the 911 but my partner is wimp prefers a gentler spice kick. We went with the medium. I would have enjoyed more heat, but the flavor was incredible. The chicken was tender, moist and flavorful. The pickles. The pickles hit the spot. Get extra on the side. Enjoy!! You wont regret the stop.

This place was pretty good. The chicken is HOT. The atmosphere is a bit lacking but overall it's a good spot.

This place was pretty good but not great. Not much selection but makes it easy to choose. A bit on the pricy side (over $15 for a combo and a drink). The mild is still spicy so if you are like me, don't go beyond mild. If you are a spice fanatic, you can go high, but you will have to sign a waiver. They don't sell wings and don't sell tenders by themselves, everything comes with bread.

First time here & wow the food is awesome! It has so much flavor and man oh man will definitely will be coming back. The chicken on both dishes was a Medium spice and it was just right. It was full of flavor & moist! The rice, the coleslaw, the fries, the mac-n-cheese it was full of flavor but just right!
