Ben & Esther's Vegan Jewish Deli - Oceanside

Went today for the first time when I learned it was across the street from my studio! Not only was the food delicious but the service was so friendly and kind. There is another vegan sandwhich shop in town that is not so nice and I really felt welcomed and appreciated at Ben and Esther’s!

I’m from the east coast where Jewish delis are plentiful but I’ve never had the luxury of an all vegan menu! So awesome!!

As someone who was vegan for almost 10 years, I like to try a few things and so I tried to Reuben and an everything bagel with their in-house “schmear” — this is the best vegan cream cheese I’ve ever had. Hands down.

I am so excited this is in town and cannot wait to continue supporting this awesome spot! Thank you!

Wow! So glad we now have a North County location of this fabulous vegan deli! It’s just so nice to look at a menu and realize you have all the choices!

I had their lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was so very tasty ( the lox are pickled/marinated carrots!).

We will be back to try more of their offerings.

We had been looking forward to a closer location being built, and this did not disappoint! I had the Philly CheeseSteak and a latke, both delicious. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu, honestly, it all looks good, I changed my mind about three times.
Indoor and outdoor seating, and a parking lot (although parking is at a premium, we parked on the side street).
I’m already in Oceanside a lot so I’m looking forward to adding this to my local breakfast/lunch options.

This place blew my expectations away (and they were high). My husband and I tried the bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese, and everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. It’s the first day open and I may even go back again. We are SO thrilled to have Ben and Esther’s in Oceanside!!

Yes!!!! That was a truly awesome sandwich. If you are vegan or are just into super delicious deli food you need to come here. I’ve got big plans to eat my way through the whole menu because it’s that’s good. Super excited to have Ben and Esther’s in the neighborhood.
