We went with a large group - 8 adults and 2 young children. They tried to seat us by the kitchen which would have been difficult to converse with such a big group. They were very accommodating and gave us a choice of 2 other tables which was great. The server took our appetizer order and disappeared. Apps were and eaten and still no sign of her. Eventually I went to find the hostess. Our server returned and took our order. I ordered the New York strip steak (medium rare on the rare side) which came with a savory tart. When it arrived, the tart was burnt and the steak served was medium rare in the middle but well done one the ends. They brought me another which was almost raw. I wasn't impressed with the menu, the execution or the service.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. French toast is a must here. We love the place so much that we tried almost everything on their menu and nothing disappointed us. Flatbread is also one of their bests. Carl and Chris were the servers we talked to mostly. Not only them, but everyone here is so nice and welcoming.

Delightful food and great service! The assistant manager, Elias is so sweet and has lots of sense of humor. My friends and I enjoyed our food along with the laughters with 100% satisfaction!

Had a New Year's Day dinner with friends at Pipers. It is a 2 min walk from the pier so first we watched the sunset then walked over. I'm a local so not a big fan of paying tourist prices at the beach restaurants but the food was unique and excellent. Our waitress, Laura, was also very attentive and personable. We ate outside and the heaters were helpful on a chilly evening.
