“These guys blow Subway AWAY!!! Went looking for Subway because I had a coupon, found these guys instead and said what the hell, I'll give them a try, besides Subway only gives you bread and see thru meat!! I'm a big guy and a 12 sub is usually no problem, not here, it makes two meals for me and makes Subway taste like junk. I'm now a fan, 11.85 for two meals is no problem, ESPECIALLY when the quality is of this magnitude!! Highly recommend and will be there tomorrow.????????????????”

“Food is pretty good there. The service at this McDonald's has not been good for me at least in the past 3 years. There used to be a group of people who work there who are always cheerful courteous helpful going the extra mile to make sure that not only myself but other customers were satisfied. I miss those individuals and wish they still work there but they had to move on. Now there are older people what I mean by older is age range between 30 and 55.I hate to say this but I get the gut feeling that they're really don't like their job and they're just going through the motions to get through the day. No compassion though excellent customer service no going the extra mile it makes for if that experience for myself so I tend not to go with you to this McDonald's that often anymore.”

In the Vons parking lot go to City Dragon Chinese food its the BEST food you'll ever eat. The husband and wife team make the most authentic Chinese food in San Diego. “This Thai place is a small cozy restaurant just opposite of Sprout's. Taste is good, not heavy on the wallet. Menu is not that expansive, but you'll find all the standard Thai entries. Portion size is not that big, but should be okay for that price. Since this place is small, it will not be comfortable for groups of 6 or more. This will be perfect for a quick to go pick-up, on a normal weekday. Spicy fried rice is must try, it will not disappoint you.”

“The best part was the owner, who we got to know a little bit. He seems very nice, and the place seems very authentic. There were very cool decor, and had a nice homey atmosphere inside. However, I'm unhappy to say that we did not get the stellar Mediterranean food that everyone has been raving about. Our beef shawarma was bland. The tahini was runny. There was a side of limp fries that look like they have been previously frozen and simply reheated, not seasoned. They could have done so much more with the fries (added feta, or some special sauce) but chose to make them as sad-looking as possible. For the price that we paid, we were expecting higher quality in food.”

“My husband and I were running errands around this area and he wanted Thai for lunch so we decided to try this place. Let me just say that I found my new favorite Thai restaurant and will definitely be back. The restaurant is clean (bonus: they don't have the disgusting table cloth kept under a clear glass that never gets changed). Staff was super friendly and sweet, a little on the slower side, but given there is only 2 wait staff, I wouldn't fault them for it. I discovered Tom Yum noodle soup on a recent trip to Portland and have been on a search for this same dish in SD. The dish at Bua Thai was amazing! The portion was very large, I "allowed" my husband to help me finish. There was plenty of protein (4 large shrimps and some shrimp meatballs), plenty of noodles and veggies; the soup was flavor and spicy enough for my liking (spicy level 8). My husband ordered spicy noodles with chicken, and he stated it was one of the best he's had in SD. We are already making plans to go back soon and I can't wait!”
