McDonald's

Typical quality of food & service. However I want to be it known that no one could be misunderstood as nothing unpleasant to the experience of any such kind with my food or the interaction with the McDonald's in its entirety for it is not bad but it is not a favorite choice of my typical food choices.

This is the McDonald's at the border crossing in San Ysidro. The food is ordinary McDonald's and the people are friendly. The place itself is unusual, the confluence of various activities having nothing to do with eating. Tourists eat and rest there. People wait there for transport across California. Border inspectors and others from the Customs house eat there. Between 1 am and 5 am tourists accumulate there waiting for the San Diego Trolley to resume service. In the past you could arrange a border jump there with coyotes. Bathroom costs 25 U.S. cents. It's warm in winter.

Sometimes the person that helps with your order is polite, other times is not. If you're helping people can you be polite always?

It's good old McDonalds. The same good food and drinks. I love their Fish falet, chicken nuggets and the burgers and good like always. The desserts and delicious and the fries are tasty. There's a drive through window, handicapped parking and access and table, public restrooms the parking is free and the staff is friendly and helpful. They always have specials and a playground for the kids and high chairs for the little ones.

I do recommend using the McDonald's Mobile App to order at this restaurant. This McDonald's location is usually very busy and using the Mobile App does allow you to avoid the line and go directly to the counter. McDonald's does have excellent deals only available through the App.
