    From it's outside appearance, I was expecting more of a divey restaurant with delicious food. Instead, it appeared to be an old restaurant trying very hard to be formal with overpriced food. We paid $50 for an entree and one appetizer that were mediocre. The outfits and decor were cute but every staff member that helped us seemed like they did not want to be there.

    When I moved to San Diego I looked fat and wide for great German food. When I found Kaiserhof it was the best day ever! Their food is amazing and the staff were always really friendly and gave great service!

    Super nice place to have a breakfast or lunch, super cool interior, very nice service and a tasty beers. Love that place for just being there. Thank you!

    This is definitely one of the best German restaurants of my experience, and I have dined at many over the years in large US cities and in Germany. Now that I am a vegetarian I don't usually seek out this cuisine, but it was to my great surprise and delight that they have a couple of vegetarian entrees. The Camembert strudel was magnificent! My dinner companions enjoyed their meatloaf and duck very much, and we all liked our sides and salads and the oxtail soup

    If you like Bavaria then you will like Kaiserhof... great beer selection followed by a 1st class German menu...a must visit when in OB.
