There aren’t a ton of vegan options that are fast...which is why it was nice to find a vegan fast food place. We tried the chicken sandwich, mushroom burger and cheese fries. They were all pretty good although we liked the chicken sandwich best. There are a lot of options on the menu. The location is convenient to Mission Bay so this would be a perfect quick bite on the way to or from the beach.
Wow, first vegan fast food place (and vegan restaurant) I've tried, and I was actually blown away. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Tenders with ranch and they not only tasted exactly like buffalo chicken wings, they had the same texture as well. The sauce was spicy but pleasant-tasting, which I consider important in a hot sauce, and liberally applied. The ranch was interesting -- more of a blue cheese, in my opinion -- but delicious and a perfect compliment to the tenders. Not too pricey either; my meal came out to $12 with a side and a drink (fair trade natural cola). I hope they set up one of these in Arizona!
Love this place, I can eat here all day.
The restaurant is very clean, staff is super friendly, there is ample parking. There are so many menu items to choose from.
We came for dinner and we had to come next day for breakfast.. great place.... Highly recommend it.... We need place like this in Canada
My girlfriend and I recently moved to California the past month from Ohio. And moving from a place that had 0 vegan restaurants to San Diego that has so many has been a blast! But! Plant power has been amazing to us, Zach(sp?) runs this location amazing, always clean, food is always great. And it just always brings a smile to our face to have some American comfort food again. We even celebrated my birthday there. Twice!
Thanks Plant Power! And OB Team!
Been here a few times now. I'd call it a go to for vegan comfort food and its a must if in the area. I was in the neighborhood early enough (before 11am) to choose from their breakfast menu recently and I was not disappointed. The fried "chicken" waffle sandwich thingy was heavenly (sorry forgot the exact name). This was so good that I said "wow" before I even finished my first bite. Sounded more like "Whurlw"
