Berta's Latin Cuisine

I love their paella. People are friendly. Need to improve their parking area.

Hubby had some great Peruvian Cordero Seco which he loved, and I myself went for some Spanish paella which was delicious but tasted a bit too fishy for my taste. Overall great variety of plates from different countries to choose from.

Delicious dishes from all over central and south America. This isn't just another Mexican restaurant in Old Town. If you want a unique experience with truly amazing food this place is for you. This restuarant is in an old renovated home. The feel is warm and homey. The staff is kind and knowledgeable about their craft. The meals are around $18, which is normal for Old Town, but actually worth it here. Oh yeah and definitely save room for dessert!

Stopped by for lunch. The gallo pinto was superb, as was the Honduran seafood soup special and the Jamaican chicken. Excellent margaritas and sangria; the sangria had cinnamon in it, which we loved. Service was excellent, possibly helped by the fact that it wasn't too busy. We will definitely return next time we are in town.
