    Ok, another great spot for visitors and locals alike. Great sandwiches, wonderful view, watch the pilots and hanggliders. Excellent hike to the beach and back. No downside. See forever on a clear day. Mexico to Dana Point.

    Really great little café at the Torrey Pines Glider Port. Mostly a soup/sandwich place, but with large, excellent quality sandwiches at reasonable prices for San Diego (around $8-$10). Their chili is also superior - healthy but still tasty - and a $2.95 "cup" was more like a bowl...probably the best deal there. Some of the best BLTs in San Diego!
