    Personally, I wasn't expecting much because most Indian restaurants in San Diego are at best slightly above average.
    Royal India surprised me ! Their Bhindi Masala is perhaps the best I've eaten anywhere in the US so far and Dal Tarka was supremely flavored. Our host Sergio was very welcoming and our food arrived pretty swiftly. I'd definitely go back.

    There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The place has a nice atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.

    My first time eating Indian in a long time that wasn't a buffet and it was really good. Everyone in our party of four liked their meal. No doggie bags needed!

    I have never eaten this kind of Indian food before, but this place is just beyond my expecation. Awesome service, as the staff explains everything in your place. Everything tastes like heaven. Even if you are not vegetarian, you will love this place.
