Delicious! Service was friendly, the food was intriguing (salmon toast!), and the atmosphere is beautiful yet relaxed.
    Lunchtime is very busy!

The place it’s amazing, no question about that. We came with our 3 kids this past Sunday for brunch and it’s an awesome place for them: big gardens to play and run and awesome spaces.
The only thing I’m giving them 3 stars (for now) is for the food and service. We were a party of 8 and the food took forever to came, it came a little bit cold (was a Chilaquilles plate that tasted very good, but supposed to be warm and was cold). They have good amount of stuff, so it seems that the problem was on the kitchen since dishes took over an hour and drinks very long too. I’m guessing since they are just opened, they are still figuring out how everything works.
I will definitely give them a try again in a few more months hoping that the food and service will improve by then, because the place worth another visit for sure.

I have had lunch twice now at F&S. Both times I've really enjoyed my menu choices (lobster roll and crab cake burger) and have left wanting to come back. This place has great attention to detail and each menu item is thoughtfully constructed and served. I admire the level of care the chefs put into each dish and plan to return!
    A few notes:
—This place caters to a more white-collar crowd along with some see-and-be-seen individuals. Wear something fun and flashy or else go business casual and you'll feel right at home.
--The matcha latte is a bit too grainy. Skip it.
--The side salads that accompany most dishes are gorgeous and delicious. I love that they are not an afterthought.
--Get a reservation for lunch. You will not be sorry. This place is popular.
    Enjoy!

Nice brunch spot that is both adult and kid friendly. Really nice outdoor dining areas. Lawn games are setup as well. A fun place to hang with the family after eating. Went on a Sunday and they had live music.

This place is nice, upscale, friendly and very La Jolla. Servers and waitresses were super nice, and went above and beyond for us (as far as getting a shaded area for us to sit). Food was above average. I think they went a little overboard on garnishes, unless that's their thing (overabundance?) But the food was pretty good, if a little pricey. I guess you're paying for the ambiance too.
