We were given a gift certificate for the lodge and finally made the effort to go to the restaurant for lunch one day. We are really glad we did. The setting is very charming and the building is a gem...the approach doesn't inspire, but once you are on the grounds it is pure California Mission Architecture and Mystic. We had lunch in the main restaurant and the food was terrific. After lunch we poked around the grounds and hotel. We plan to return with friends for dinner. If we weren't local we would consider staying here fo trip. The place just has a good vibe.

Beautiful location. Great sunset view sitting outside for dinner. Food is good but service was bad.

A top place for quality Californian food. Food was so fresh. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I liked.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It doesn't get any more California than this. Perched on the edge of Torrey pines golf course overlooking the Pacific ocean. The Craftsman style architecture create the perfect setting for a Sunday brunch or even an afternoon lunch. During my visit I enjoyed lunch on the patio with some clients. I had the hanger steak with escarole. Both the escarole and steak were cooked to perfection. My partner ordered their famous burger. Well not on the menu those in the know can still order it. both of the lemonade and iced tea here are fantastic and pair perfectly to create the perfect Arnold Palmer. The service here is fantasticand anticipate your every need without asking for anything. Dining here is truly a pleasure.
