The place may look run down, but the food and service makes up for it 100%!
Delicious fish tacos made when ordered. Plain deco atmosphere but excellent food.
The 1/2 catfish plate special is a really great value. With a drink the whole thing was less than 10 bucks. (Without its a little over 7 with tax) Great for a quick lunch and they even have hotsauce to mix with ketchup for the criss cross fries served along side. They also provide a lemon which I like to mix into the tasty tartar sauce they serve. I couldn't help but take a bite before I took this picture because the smell was so yummy.
My dad ordered the fried shrimp and ate every last bite, covered in chunky tarter without so much as a word. Waffle fries are crispy and very salty, and the cole slaw is best eaten flipped out of the dish so the juice (and flavor) no longer hides on the bottom. I ate every last chicken tender (4 tenders in the half order, w/ 4 bites of cole slaw, a side of ranch, and a heap of steaming waffle fries) but very sadly couldn't finish my fries. Worth the inexpensive price for hefty portions. Small parties acceptable in the restaurant, but our party of 5 +2 kids had a hard time squeezing in an almost full dining room.
Great service, delicious food. This is a kids menu fish and chips- i couldnt help myself and bit into the center piece of fish (sorry!). Great location, too.
