I visited for the Emo Night Brooklyn. The Facility is beautiful filled with Paintings and art pieces. You can feel all the love and emotions in the Illustrations! The building is 2 stories with V.I.P is above while General Admission below. Both have bars and food! It was pretty clean and the vibes were AMAZING.
It's a concert venue first (typical smaller size, bar at the back). Restaurant part is nothing to brag about. Bar style food, not great but not bad. Drinks are average. Price is tolerable for the area. Layout of the restaurant is a little odd. Tuesdays in the bar has live blues though, so that's neat. Photo is from the rear of the bottom concert floor by the bar, so you'll have a decent view as long as you're tall. If you're under 5'7" though, be sure to get the balcony tickets or get there super early to snag a front spot or you're going to be craning your neck and on your toes the whole time!
If you drive you need to find downtown parking. There is a parking garage across the street from the restaurant on the left side of the one-way street. The restaurant is typical of a House of Blues with mostly blues music playing in the background. There is full bar service and patio dining if you are interested in that. Inside tables have lit candles on them and cloth napkins which indicates a classier establishment than most chains. The service is excellent as is the food. There is also a large gift shop.
Great place for live music venue. I like the place and the show was amazing. Staff was helpful and cooperative. We had lot of fun and enjoyed a lot with friends. I will be coming back i f any other show will be there and definitely going to recommend this place to anyone. Overall it was fun and great experience.
My girlfriend got VIP seating for me and a few other people to join her for a comedy show last Friday evening. The comedian was hilarious! We had a little trouble connecting with the person who was handling our VIP package. After I found out how much the VIP tickets were and being in the VIP section, I don't think it was a such a great deal. You're sitting up above the stage and far to the side. Unless you get right up to the railing, your view is obstructed by the railing. The seats right in the front would have been a much better option for what we paid. Maybe they should rope off a section in the front on each side for VIP? Also, please offer a healthier selection of food choices. Almost everything was fried. We were able to get a salad from the restaurant downstairs. Would definitely NOT recommend the VIP package for anyone going here! Have dinner somewhere else first and purchase regular seating.
