The Green Acre prises itself for serving organic food, but they fail on another aspect of being eco-friendly — they use plastic utensils and plastic water cups like a cheap eatery at a freeway runoff. Considering that they are managed by Alexandria and somewhat related to the more upscale Farmer & The Seahorse, they should pay more attention to plates and utensils. I can live with paper bowls if they don't want to bother washing real ceramic bowls, but I absolutely abhor disposable plastic items like forks and cups. Customers just throw them away, and even those who throw them in a recycling bin cannot hope for these items to be recycled — we all know that recycling used to mean sending junk to China, but since 2017 China does not accept it anymore.
I suggest to the management to provide real metal utensils and reusable water cups if they want to support their message of upscale eco-friendliness.
As for the food, it was OK. The chicken in my salad was a bit dry, but overall it was an interesting and reasonably-sized combination of greens and meat.
Very good for organic food
Everything was more than perfect
Love the outdoor spaces here. The vegetable gardener is incredibly knowledgeable about how best to plant a garden, so sorry near the garden where you can catch this person at work. It almost goes without saying that that food is also really good.
Great food and atmosphere in a work park setting. Be aware also that the prices are a little upscale too.
