Went here and the server was really nice and kind to us. We ordered the sushi and came out fast for sushi and the quality was still amazing and was some of the best sushi we've ever had. Would recommend.

Lowest prices in San Diego. Won't make you sick. Nice place to hang out and drink light beer.

Smells like burnt cooking oil. The draft beer is sometimes flat. BUT... the price is right and the sushi is good enough. Good value overall because they are practically giving away the food and beer.

I'm too cheap to pay for high quality sushi, so this is one of my favorite places.

For fancy, high priced sushi, go to The Joint. For good sushi that's more expensive, go to Saporro down the street.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant. I grew up in the area so when I make a trip back to my hometown, I try to stop here. I went a few days ago and the food was good as always. Service was fine. I always get the shrimp tempura roll, it's a nice size and tastes great. This time I tried the snowballs and it was great as well. Almost every time I visit, the place will have one or two tables occupied (I don't like being crowded) so that's a plus for me.

The slight downside to the place was that the soy sauce dishes on the table were dirty. Also the server put a rough looking lemon in my drink. I didn't ask for one because lemons sit around, get cross contaminated, etc so I took it out immediately. And lastly my mother went for take out once toward closing time and the miso soup was watered down.

Overall it's a good place for sushi and other small bites but they have some room for improvement.
