Great food for decent portion and price.
Taste very close to the original you can find in China. The mapo tofu is just flavorful and numb your mouth in such a delicate way.
Pretty decent Sichuan food, which is what my rating is mainly based on. I liked both the 酸湯魚 ($11.99) and the 麻辣肥牛鍋 ($14.99) (I forget the English names). They didn't buy 豬肉片 when I visited and so couldn't make the 水煮豬肉片.
The service is hilariously poor, even for a Chinese restaurant. Basically every part of their service was a comedy of errors when I visited. The part that particularly stuck out for me was they were turning people away saying they were closed 40 minutes before closing time, even for takeout orders. It wasn't closing time yet as we were finishing up but they were already mopping the floors using powerful smelling cleaning solutions, which made it hard to enjoy the food. So basically, come early if you want to eat here.
They really like it if you pay in cash.
Good food and cheap food. We come here when were craving spicy food although food is not that spicy but the flavors are good. I especially enjoy their cold dish, it taste better than spicy house or spicy city in my opinion. Staff is not friendly but attentive
"Slather [insert whatever food you want here] in low quality oil and/or a commercial sauce and serve." This is how I would describe this place. No nuance to the flavor but a large variety of options. There were several things on the menu which were vegan, which I appreciated, but the food came all to fast to have been cooked. Reheated at best. This is not a place that I will probably go back to.
